Matthew Boudreau
Matt joined the Bit Players in early 2025 after a long hiatus from comedy and the arts. A Rhode Island native, he got his start performing with the Newport Children’s Theatre and in school plays – most notably as his favorite role, Audrey II in “Little Shop of Horrors”. While at Emory University, he discovered short-form improv as a member of “Rathskeller” and helped launch the sketch comedy group “The Shepherds”.
When he’s not improvising, Matt works in public health, focusing on cancer screening programs and making spreadsheets more dramatic than they need to be. He enjoys hiking in the mountains, telling himself he’ll get back to learning the ukulele, and trying to win the affection of his cat, Luna, who remains unimpressed.
Matt is thrilled to be a part of the Bit Players and feels incredibly lucky to share the stage with such a talented, kind, and hilarious cast. He hopes you enjoy the show, and that the laughter, unlike other things, is contagious!
