Katy Fulkerson

Katy, a native Texan, moved to Rhode Island in 2017, and no, she does NOT miss the heat! She joined The Bit Players in February of 2025, finally finding a family of fellow funny people.

Her passion for acting began at age 7 when she was cast as Cranberry Sauce in the school play, “The Thanksgiving Nightmare.” After embodying the spirit of that tangy, often underappreciated side dish, Katy knew she wanted to be an actor. With a BA from Baylor University and professional training in Los Angeles, Katy's diverse acting credits include voice-over, film, and commercials.

A true believer in finding the funny in every situation, she values the power of laughter. She’s blessed to share improv with audiences at The Firehouse Theater and dreams of one day bringing those bits to life in a sketch comedy show! In her spare time, she loves caffeinated chin-wagging, goofing around with her husband and daughters, and serving at her church.
