Corey Finkle
Corey Finkle is somewhat horrified to realize that he’s been doing improv since 2001, which is likely longer than some of his castmates have been alive. He performed for more than a decade in Washington, DC as a cast member of the award-winning ComedySportz and the District of Columbia Unscripted Players (DCUP). Since moving to Rhode Island in 2012, he has performed with Bring Your Own Improv and the Providence Improv Guild, and is the co-founder of Kibbitz and Bits, a comedy troupe based at Temple Emanu-El in Providence, where he teaches the fundamentals of improv to a cast that ranges in age from 40-80+. He is absolutely THRILLED to be joining the cast of the Bit Players, and relishing the chance to perform with this gifted group, and make people laugh.
Corey wears multiple hats in addition to itinerant comedian: he is also a storyteller, trivia host, video producer, published children’s book author (coreyfinkle.com), and most importantly, the father of two kids who need him less and less every day.
