Danny Landino

Danny Landino is a Newport-based professional comedian and actor from West Haven, CT. A lifelong performer, Danny has been improvising since 2016, having co-founded Completely Scripted Improv while studying psychology and theatre at Salve Regina University right here in Newport as a member of the class of 2020.

When not improvising at the Firehouse Theatre, Danny can be found acting in the Rhode Island area or for three-tenths of a second in the background of that one scene in that one episode of HBO’s The Gilded Age. Offstage, Danny recently earned his Master’s degree in holistic clinical mental health counseling and a CAGS in Expressive Arts, combining his passions of performing and psychology as a therapist specializing in theatre/improv-based approaches—He hopes to be the first person to ever make use of their theatre degree.

Danny is effusively grateful to have found a home at the Firehouse as a member of the Bit Players, and hopes you enjoy the show even just a fraction as much as he loves performing in it.
